Dove Summer Glow Gradual Tan – I Don’t Think So

Dove Summer Glow

I hate giving bad reviews. I really do. But I don’t have anything good to say about this at all. I’m so sorry. Save yourself the time, agony, effort and money and stay well away!

It’s made me orange, patchy and unhappy. It’s not gradual at all! I put mine on at night time and I wake up all orange! I think it will wash away in my morning shower, but I’m still orange and patchy when I get out. A couple of weeks of regular use and that hasn’t evened out the patchiness. Yes, I’m even MORE orange! Argh!!!

It doesn’t smell overly offensive and it’s not a budget breaker but I really want to find another alternative! I so don’t want to be reflective all summer long but I’d rather impersonate Casper the Friendly Ghost than be a member of Team Tango!!!

Kisses,

Rebecca xxx

Oh my, thank you for letting us know and for the warning. It seems as if this provoked an instant violent reaction like holiday johnson did on me. could not get rid of it. I think it's to do with the ph in our skin or something like that: on some skins, great, on others: horrendous. I shall stay well clear of this anyone and not paying to run the risk, even if it's cheap. thank you xx

I am going to have to pipe up and bat for the other side in this one! I think it's a definite case of different skins work better with differerent products but I love this!
I use the version with shimmer in it and although it doesn't smell great whn slept in, it leaves me with a really lovely colour.

Different strokes eh?
